Stowarzyszenie Malta Służba Medyczna

Stowarzyszenie Malta Służba Medyczna is a Polish nonprofit paramedical organization that brings together volunteers committed to helping people in need. Its members are trained in first aid and qualified first aid, and include professionally active paramedics, nurses, and doctors. They volunteer their time without pay, providing support through local branches across Poland.

The association offers first-aid courses and demonstrations, qualified first-aid training, and courses on controlling severe bleeding. It also provides medical coverage for events, including support in difficult terrain, and medical transport services. Other activities include lending medical, rehabilitation, and orthopedic equipment, as well as delivering social and humanitarian assistance. Through projects such as Malta Uczy Ratować, the organization also promotes first-aid education and community preparedness.

Malta Służba Medyczna welcomes volunteers and encourages public donations, including Poland’s 1.5% tax allocation, to support its work. Its mission emphasizes practical medical assistance, care for others, and dialogue between cultures. The association is headquartered in Kraków and operates branches in several Polish communities.
