The Malta Human Rights Education Centre (MHREC) is a hub for spreading awareness and knowledge about human rights principles and ideals. Their main mission is to bring human rights closer to the people they impact by educating them and promoting open discussions about human rights concepts. MHREC fosters an environment where right-holders and duty-bearers can learn and engage with experts and inspiring voices in the field.

As a Voluntary Organization registered under the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organizations, MHREC is dedicated to creating a better understanding of human rights for the public. They offer various projects, such as the Court View project and the MHREC Learns initiative, along with expert meetings, trainings, and exhibitions. Furthermore, they actively encourage volunteering and offer opportunities for the youth network to get involved.
