Malta Midwives Association (MMA) is an organisation dedicated to advancing the clinical and professional practice of midwifery in Malta and Gozo. Led by midwives, it serves midwives, women, families and the wider community, with a commitment to exceptional, compassionate care and evidence-based information. MMA supports women and families in making informed decisions and promotes women-centred care and physiological birth, while working to help develop a generation of midwives equipped to support these approaches.

Through its platform, MMA shares useful information, offers services and provides opportunities to connect with midwifery support. Its activities include booked services and educational sessions, with topics such as childbirth preparation, first aid, baby massage and weaning. The association also highlights resources and initiatives relevant to expectant parents and families, alongside information about pregnancy, birth and infant care. Its work is guided by values of excellence, empathy and compassion, with the aim of supporting positive health outcomes for women and babies.
