About Malteser
The Maltese Aid Service in Lviv focuses on helping refugees, children from orphanages, and the elderly. Their activities include assisting refugees at border crossings and at the main railway and bus stations in Lviv, providing humanitarian aid, organizing first aid courses, and conducting charity events for children in need. Additionally, they are involved in diplomatic relations between the Sovereign Order of Malta and Ukraine and have been active in humanitarian work for over 30 years.
Their first aid training courses, led by experienced medical professionals, aim to equip teachers, students, and volunteers with life-saving skills. They provide practical training using the latest equipment and follow the latest protocols. The service also engages in distributing food kits and providing psychological support to people affected by war, contributing to the overall well-being of the community
