The Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Lithuania (maltiečiai) is part of one of the world’s oldest charity organizations – the Order of Malta – which provides aid to people in need in over 120 countries. In Lithuania, maltiečiai work on a volunteer basis, helping lonely, vulnerable, and struggling individuals, including the elderly, children and youth, people with disabilities, refugees, and migrants. Today, the organization unites around 2,031 volunteers in 44 locations across the country.
