Malungos Sud Ouest is an association sharing Brazilian culture through capoeira and batucada percussion in the Landes and Basque Country, with activities in Seignosse and Ondres and nearby areas. It welcomes children and adults, beginners and experienced participants, and accepts enrolments throughout the year. Classes introduce students to capoeira, combining movement, music and shared practice, as well as the lively rhythms of Brazilian percussion.
Children’s capoeira classes are offered for ages 4–7 and 8 and over; a batucada class for children aged 8 and over is also being launched for the 2026–2027 season. The association promotes respect, sharing, solidarity, perseverance and enjoyment in a friendly, supportive environment. Its activities include performances and community events such as the Festival Malunguinhos, where children can take part in capoeira workshops, demonstrations and a batizado ceremony.
Malungos Sud Ouest also runs Espace Malungos, a venue available to rent for classes, company events and private celebrations
