Malvern Hills Trust, formerly known as the Malvern Hills Conservators, is a registered charity dedicated to protecting and managing the Malvern Hills and adjacent commons. With over 3,000 acres of open grassland, woodland, and scrub, the trust works tirelessly to preserve this iconic landscape for the benefit of wildlife, local communities, and the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come each year. Their key objectives are to preserve the natural aspect, protect trees and vegetation, prevent unlawful activities, and maintain the Hills as open spaces for public enjoyment.

They also strive to conserve and enhance biodiversity and important cultural heritage sites on their land. To achieve their mission, the trust is governed by a dedicated board of 29 members, including elected and nominated individuals. They meet regularly to set policies, strategic aims, and address public inquiries.

Funding for the trust primarily comes from a levy on council tax payers, supplemented by car parking fees, grants, donations, and other fundraising activities. Donations and legacies play a crucial role in enabling the trust to go beyond basic maintenance work.
