MaMaartje

MaMaartje is the independent lactation practice of Maartje, an IBCLC-certified lactation consultant based in Oss, serving families in the surrounding area, including Heesch, Uden, Veghel, Berghem, Ravenstein, Den Bosch and Rosmalen. She provides personalised advice and support for parents with questions or difficulties related to feeding their baby, whether they are breastfeeding or using a bottle.

Consultations cover preparation for breastfeeding during pregnancy, pain, expressing milk, medication use, feeding after returning to work, bottle refusal, feeding position and frequency, and the use or gradual withdrawal of aids such as nipple shields and pacifiers. Maartje also offers oral assessments, including evaluation of a possible tongue-tie or lip-tie, and guidance on feeding skills. Related topics may include sleep, crying, reflux, allergies, starting solid foods, bonding and infant development.

Alongside her private practice, Maartje works with a tongue-tie clinic’s frenulotomy team, supporting families affected by oral anatomy or habits. When needed, she can refer parents to relevant specialists and collaborates with professionals including midwives, dentists, speech therapists, dietitians and bodywork practitioners.
