About MAMA initiative NG
MAMA Initiative is a dynamic and impactful youth-led organization dedicated to creating a prosperous and sustainable economy through credible empowerment programs and advocacy. Established in 2010 as Makatiola& Friends, this non-profit organization has evolved and grown to become a registered non-governmental organization in Nigeria. Originally focused on providing aid and basic needs in small capacities, MAMA Initiative now places its emphasis on vocational training and human capacity building.
However, it continues to actively engage in educational development, healthcare improvement, and economic growth theories. With a mission to contribute to a sustainable economy through health, education, and human capacity development projects, as well as advocate for the sustainable development goals, MAMA Initiative aims to be one of the leading non-governmental organizations making a positive impact on Nigeria, Africa, and the wider world. Currently operating in Kano State, FCT-Abuja, and Ondo State, MAMA Initiative has plans for expansion into other states across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
