Mamas Rezepte

Mamas Rezepte is a family-inspired cooking and baking website created by Hermine. It began when she wrote and illustrated a cookbook of her three children’s favorite dishes, using watercolor artwork, and their enthusiasm encouraged her to share the recipes online. The site brings together original family recipes and dishes passed down through generations, reflecting culinary traditions from different countries.

Visitors can browse recipes across a wide range of categories, including meat and poultry, fish, vegetables, vegetarian meals, soups, salads, pasta, and desserts. Baking is a particular focus, with recipes for cakes, tarts, breads, pastries, muffins, and seasonal specialties such as Christmas cookies, pumpkin dishes, strawberry desserts, and plum cakes. The collection also features regional favorites, including Swabian dishes and homemade Maultaschen and Spätzle, alongside recipes for sauces, preserves, liqueurs, and bread spreads.

Beyond recipes, Mamas Rezepte provides practical cooking guidance, ingredient knowledge, and tips on herbs and spices. Many recipes include photographs and calorie information, helping home cooks explore dishes and find ideas for everyday meals and special occasions.
