Mana Tāhuna Charitable Trust is a dynamic and innovative Māori organization dedicated to creating positive social, cultural, and environmental change in our community. With a strong focus on the principles of kaupapa Māori, we offer a wide range of services and initiatives to uplift and empower whānau (families) in Tāhuna - Queenstown. Our environmental restoration programs are at the heart of our work.

We are committed to revitalizing and preserving our land, with a specific emphasis on freshwater catchment rejuvenation. By restoring over 10,000 hectares of these vital ecosystems in the Whakatipu region, we aim to create a healthier, more sustainable environment for future generations. In addition to our environmental efforts, we provide a comprehensive range of community services, including health and social support for rangatahi (youth).

We also prioritize connecting whānau to their Māoritanga (Māori culture) and fostering unity within the local community. At Mana Tāhuna, we believe in the strength of our whānau, and our mission is to improve their wellbeing while taking care of our Taiao (environment).
