Man Clan is a men’s club focused on helping members improve their lives through structured development, practical action and peer support. Founded by Barry and Dougie, who drew on their own experiences of reaching rock bottom and making changes, the club aims to provide the guidance and structure they felt were missing from their recovery journeys. Its central offering is The Hero’s Journey, a nine-week online development course for men ready to invest in themselves.

Weekly online check-ins support participants, and the course concludes with an in-person Men’s Rite of Passage weekend. Man Clan says the programme is designed to build resilience, emotional intelligence, physical robustness, practical capability and self-understanding. The club also promotes lifting, running and rucking as foundations for fitness and everyday wellbeing.

Members can use its dedicated gym, equipped for powerlifting and assistance work, and join regular group runs for different abilities. Rucking activities are supported by the club’s participation in the Global GORUCK Club. Man Clan presents its approach as combining conversation with consistent, purposeful action
