Mane Event Carriages is a family-owned and operated carriage service based on a farm in Clayton, Indiana. Founded in 2013 by Tony and Ginny, the business brings their family’s love of horses and more than a decade of combined horse experience to special occasions. It offers horse-drawn carriage rides for weddings, proms, parties, and other celebrations, helping clients create memorable experiences.
The team includes Maximus, a people-friendly Percheron draft horse, and Iris, an experienced carriage mare. Mane Event Carriages also welcomes photography sessions and can travel to studios for photo shoots. The company serves the greater Indianapolis area, with an additional fuel charge for trips more than 40 miles away.
Rides proceed at a leisurely walking pace, and travel time is approximately 15 minutes per mile. Horse and passenger safety are priorities, with service adjusted or canceled in severe weather. Reservations are encouraged at least two months ahead and require a non-refundable deposit.
The business is located at 90 Ader Ave, Clayton, Indiana
