About MangaFest UGM
MangaFest UGM is an annual manga event and one of the biggest Japanese festivals in Indonesia. This event serves as a platform for local comic artists to hone their creativity and express themselves through comics. Offering a wide range of activities and competitions, MangaFest UGM aims to bring together manga enthusiasts and foster a vibrant community.
One of the highlights of MangaFest UGM is the Manga and Fanart competitions, where participants can showcase their artistic skills and win exciting prizes. Additionally, there are various academic competitions such as NOUKEN Benron, a Japanese speech contest, and SAKUBUN, a Japanese essay-writing competition. These competitions provide opportunities for participants to improve their language proficiency and deepen their understanding of Japanese culture.
