Manhattan Tennis Association

Manhattan Tennis Association (MTA) is a New York City tennis community that brings players together through competitive play, local court information, events, and tennis services. Its season-long singles ladder welcomes players across four NTRP skill divisions, with flexible scheduling for matches throughout the city. Since 2022, the association reports more than 1,000 ladder matches and over 400 ladder players, alongside a broader membership of more than 800 people.

MTA helps players find courts, with practical details such as location and permit requirements, and organizes social experiences including watch parties, club events, and tennis gatherings. Its offerings also include a winter indoor doubles ladder and tennis trips featuring live tennis and opportunities to play in new cities. For guests and private clients, the association can arrange courts, coaches, and hitting partners. Players can also book sessions with approved hitting partners, find racquet stringing and customization services, and discover tennis stores around NYC. The MTA Shop offers small-run branded essentials, apparel, and accessories.
