Maniak

Maniak is a Belgian climbing brand and community, operating since 2018. With four of its own climbing gyms in Nivelles, Charleroi, Forest (Brussels) and Braine-l’Alleud, plus partner venues in Grimbergen and Marche-en-Famenne, Maniak makes indoor climbing accessible across multiple locations. Its gyms offer bouldering and roped climbing, with facilities and features that vary by venue, including autobelays, lead climbing, training boards and areas for children. Maniak memberships and 10-entry cards also provide access to partner gyms.

Newcomers can try bouldering without certification, while roped climbing begins with an introductory session or private lesson, preparation through e-learning, and in-person practice with an instructor. Maniak also offers courses for adults and children aged six and over, holiday camps, private coaching, birthday parties, group and school visits, and outdoor climbing trips. Through the Maniak Academy, climbers can learn, build skills and pursue training for roles such as activity leader or instructor. The brand combines climbing facilities and instruction with events, community activities and climbing merchandise.
