Manier Seeds

Manier Tohumculuk is a Turkish seed company whose agricultural activities date back to 1930. Its seed business began in 1978 under the name Mancak Ticaret, initially focusing on field-crop seeds. Since 2003, the company has continued its work in vegetable seed breeding and production as Manier Tohumculuk. Its team develops seeds for professional growers, concentrating on seven crops: tomato, pepper, eggplant, melon, watermelon, cucumber and squash.

Manier combines conventional plant-breeding methods with supporting modern techniques, including tissue culture, molecular marker-assisted selection, genomics and bioinformatics. Its breeding programs aim to meet grower and consumer needs by improving fruit quality and productivity, while developing varieties with resistance to challenges caused by living and environmental factors. The company states that none of its products are genetically modified. Manier has a broad sales network in Türkiye, and its products are also available in Europe, the Balkans, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
