About Manifesto13
Manifesto13 is a pioneering art studio established in Kuwait in 2014, known as the country's first art-based alternative 'unschool. ' We prioritize questioning, introspection, and compassionate co-creation over competition, aiming to inspire students to think beyond conventional boundaries. Our focus is on the creative process rather than the end result, delving into social and environmental issues through art.
By delving into art history, theory, and technique in a trusting communal setting, we foster a unique learning environment. Post-pandemic, our Kuwait studio has transitioned to a nomadic lifestyle, with our first pop-up location at The Arbor School in Dubai from January to June 2022. At Manifesto13, we believe in continuous evolution, self-discovery, collaboration, and giving back to society through art education and critique rather than judgment.
