About Manila Community Radio
Manila Community Radio is an independent radio platform established in July 2020. It was built by the community, for the community. They offer a diverse range of shows featuring music from various genres like love bouquet with blush, a mix dedicated to the queer community and their allies, and SadoMasoDisco with Papa Jawnz, a pre-game broadcast set before their 3rd anniversary special.
Manila Community Radio also showcases live recordings from events like Lokal Fête Siargao and Balikbayan Radio, where local and international DJs spin soulful dance mixes. Their archives feature a wide selection of genres including disco, funk, house, deep house, and more. MCR is passionate about supporting local artists and advocating for important causes.
