The Manistee County Community Foundation (MCCF) is a community foundation dedicated to improving quality of life across Manistee County, Michigan, from Arcadia and Wellston to Copemish, Onekama, Marilla, and the City of Manistee. Investing in people and places since 1987, MCCF builds a permanent community endowment, awards grants and scholarships, and brings people together to support positive change. Its work reaches many aspects of community life, including youth, education, human services, arts, the environment, recreation, community development, and placemaking.
Through Spring and Fall grant cycles, eligible organizations can apply online for support from grant program funds. Students can use a common scholarship application to be considered for scholarships, many of which require demonstrated financial need and may be used at accredited colleges, universities, or vocational schools. MCCF also offers an impact investing program and supports community leadership through initiatives such as the Learning Lab and Launch Manistee Network.
Contributions help address community needs today while creating lasting benefits for future generations. Its guiding message is “For Good. For Ever.
