Manna Day Centre is a family-owned day centre at 100 Sefton Lane in Maghull, Liverpool, supporting adults with learning disabilities. It provides a welcoming, safe and friendly community where people are valued and encouraged to develop their independence, skills and interests. Support is person-centred, shaped around each individual’s goals, choices and aspirations, with a caring staff team available to help clients take part confidently.
The centre offers a varied programme of daily activities, creative workshops, life-skills sessions, community outings, and training and vocational development. Its facilities include a sensory room, cinema room, computer room, arts and crafts room, music room, and hair and beauty salon. Clients can also use the swimming pool and enjoy the outdoor activity farm, where they can care for animals, grow vegetables and spend time in nature. These activities provide opportunities to learn, socialise and build friendships in a supportive setting.
Manna describes its atmosphere as a “home from home,” with owners on site and accessible to families.
