MANND is a creative extended reality (XR) studio based in Denmark, creating virtual and augmented reality experiences for business and the arts. MANND’s selected projects show how it applies XR to storytelling and social themes. Separate Silences is a two-person VR experience exploring being in a coma through a 20-minute cinematic narrative. X-Ray Fashion is a VR documentary about fast fashion, created to help audiences understand the effects of an unsustainable supply chain. SUSTAIN:AR is an iOS augmented reality fashion show promoting sustainable projects by graduating students at VIA Design.
The studio’s work has received recognition, including the Young Talent award at the 2021 Danish Design Awards. MANND also shares its ideas through public presentations, including co-founder Maria Herholdt Engermann’s 2019 TEDx talk in Aarhus about X-Ray Fashion.
