About Mannflóran
Mannflóran is an educational platform focusing on multiculturalism in Icelandic society. Offering lectures, workshops, and guidance for schools, institutions, and businesses interested in addressing prejudice and racism, Mannflóran aims to promote a more equal and inclusive community. The platform also creates content for radio and television, such as the show Mannflóran aired on RÚV in spring 2023.
Founded and owned by Chanel Björk Sturludóttir, Mannflóran invites young individuals aged 14-25 of foreign origin to join a digital workshop on anti-racism as part of the European Anti-Racism Week 2024. Embracing a diverse "mannflóra" (human flora), Mannflóran strives to facilitate discussions and initiatives that foster understanding and unity within Icelandic society.
