The Manningtree Earth Festival

A FREE Earth festival for local people from the Manningtree district; to entertain, inspire, educate, and empower. Through celebrating and showcasing the positive action that difference makers in our little town are taking, we aim to form a community of like-minded people. The festival will be fully inclusive with something for people of all ages, including live music, food and drink stalls, vendors of eco products, mindfulness and relaxation. There will be a full programme of activities and workshops to interest and engage people at all stages of their journey towards caring for the Earth. The festival is being organised by a group of volunteers from the Manningtree District Business Chamber, Plastic Free Manningtree Mistley and Lawford, PACE Manningtree, the Town and Parish Councils and The Manningtree Streetkeepers group. Through holding a Summer festival within walking and cycling distance from the town centre, bus stop and train station, we hope to create a carbon neutral (or positive) experience for everyone which can be the role model for future events in our community.
