We are an independent wine producer with an estate nestled between the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. Our care and attention ensure our grapes reflect the essence of their unique provenance; our uncluttered winemaking produces sophisticated reds that have outshone established premium brands and won numerous international awards. Phil Manser has worked in the industry for 25 years, forging close links with independent wineries in South Australia as he connected them to wine lovers through retail and wholesale markets. After so much time in small vineyards, Phil succumbed to a crazy impulse in 2013 and turned half a tonne of his friends’ surplus fruit into the first barrel of the aptly named One Mad Moment. Two years later, Kevin Manser purchased the Corydon vineyard in the Southern Adelaide Hills, which had been a labour of love created by a Hardys chief winemaker and began producing the muich lauded Block 4 wines. Thus, the Manser family had found their new home and a chance to realise their dream of making uncompromisingly top-quality wine.
