MANTRA, the Manitoba Nicotine & Tobacco Reduction Alliance, is a provincial organization that has worked since 2002 to advance efforts to reduce commercial tobacco and nicotine use in Manitoba. MANTRA focuses on issues including youth smoking, vaping and nicotine use; community capacity building; flavoured tobacco and vaping products; and support for quitting smoking or vaping. It shares information about quit programs, services, and other trusted support for people seeking to stop, as well as those helping someone else quit. Its free smoke-free and vape-free motivation meters help users track health recovery, potential savings, and milestones after quitting. Clinics, schools, workplaces, and community organizations can request these resources.
