About Many Tears Animal Rescue
Many Tears Animal Rescue (MTAR) is a dedicated charity based in Carmarthenshire, Wales, specializing in the rescue and rehoming of primarily ex-breeding dogs, as well as other dogs in need of care. Established in 2004 by Sylvia and Bill Van Atta, this compassionate organization has become a safe haven for countless animals, providing love, medical treatment, and rehabilitation to those often abandoned or mistreated. MTAR ensures that each dog receives necessary veterinary care, including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and specialized treatment for various health issues.
Each year, MTAR successfully rehomes over 3,000 dogs through a thorough adoption process that prioritizes the well-being of both the dogs and potential adopters. Beyond dogs, MTAR also offers services such as horse rescues, comprehensive training courses, and a supportive community for foster families. With a commitment to compassion and respect for all animals, MTAR continuously seeks donations and volunteers to support their mission and transform lives.
