Mapa Mov Saúde

Mapa Mov Saúde is a collaborative platform dedicated to tracking and mapping social movements focused on health issues in Brazil. By gathering information from various health initiatives, the platform aims to create a comprehensive online resource that highlights strategies, actions, and knowledge generated by these social actors. Currently, Mapa Mov Saúde boasts 869 registered collaborators who contribute to the ongoing growth of the project.

The platform encourages users to share their experiences and help develop content related to health movements, promoting collaboration through community engagement. Notably, it features significant updates, such as the approval of legislation aimed at enhancing the health of the Black population in Rio de Janeiro, reflecting the strong advocacy of local movements. Mapa Mov Saúde is grounded in principles of public welfare and collaborative knowledge sharing, using open-source software and a Creative Commons license for content. This initiative represents a significant effort to ensure equity in health care and address systemic inequalities within Brazilian society.
