MapClash is a free, browser-based GPS conquest game from Karacho Games, designed to bring strategy into the real world without requiring a download. Players explore their surroundings on foot and claim map tiles of roughly 150 metres, building influence across their street, neighbourhood and city. The game combines territory control with training troops, developing buildings and research, forming guilds and alliances, and leading live battles. Players can also complete missions, pursue seasonal achievements, collect drops and rewards, and compare progress through rankings.

MapClash uses a player’s location during gameplay to determine where they can claim territory; the site says location data is used only while playing and is not shared. Players can begin as guests or link an account through Apple, Google, Twitch, Discord or email to preserve progress across devices. Guest progress may be deleted after seven days of inactivity. The game includes map and display settings, messaging, friend features and a Discord community for questions and support.
