Map for Ham is a non-profit project created by Italian radio amateur Diego Rispoli, IU1FIG, and launched in December 2020. It brings together web technologies and amateur radio resources in an interactive, global platform designed for radio amateurs, shortwave listeners, and other radiocommunication enthusiasts. Its zoomable, clickable map and 3D globe display repeaters and radio links, including analog, DMR, C4FM, D-Star, EchoLink, and beacons, alongside other markers and information. Data is gathered from original sources or entered by the community, whose reports help keep listings accurate and current.
The platform offers a range of free tools and services, with or without an account. Users can explore scheduled events in a calendar, record and manage contacts in a feature-rich logbook, view QSOs on a map, exchange private messages, submit their operating location, and access awards, eQSL, DX resources, band plans, and community features. Members can also use a dashboard, while radio-link managers may request data additions, corrections, or removals.
