MapGame is a geography game created by Minas Giannekas in 2023, built around a daily challenge: identify a hidden country on an interactive map. Players have up to 10 guesses, receiving a new clue after each attempt. Scores reflect whether they find the country, how many hints they use, how quickly they play, and how closely their guesses match the clues. The daily game gives players around the world the same country to discover, making it easy to compare results with friends.

For more play and practice, MapGame offers unlimited random-country rounds and a ranked mode featuring three consecutive games, with combined scores eligible for a global leaderboard. Unlockable Twists add special modifiers and opportunities for bonus points. The site also includes statistics, game history, country information and filters, and options to share or transfer saved progress.
