About Musée MAPICA
Mapica, or the Musée Aéronautique Presqu'île Côte d'Amour, has dedicated over 40 years to the restoration and preservation of French aviation heritage. Located at the La Baule Escoublac aerodrome, Mapica is an association of passionate volunteers committed to breathing life into historical aircraft. The museum features an impressive collection, including 20 restored planes such as the Caudron Luciole, Piper J3, and Morane MS 317, showcasing the rich history of aviation in France.
Visitors can engage in guided tours, witness the dedication of the restoration team, and enjoy interactive experiences like flight simulators for children. Offering a boutique with aviation-themed merchandise and the Jazz Volant bar/restaurant for events, Mapica provides a comprehensive experience for aviation enthusiasts and families alike.
