Maple Equine-

Maple Equine is a horse training and instruction business serving Western Michigan, with options for Maple to travel to clients or for clients to bring their horses to her in Ada. Trainer and instructor Maple Kirby draws on a lifetime of riding and training and a decade of teaching experience to provide clear, supportive instruction tailored to each horse and rider. Her approach emphasizes health, happiness, confidence, and capability, with attention to the horse’s physical and mental well-being and communication.

Services include private and group riding lessons and training in foundational English and Western skills, introductory through first-level Dressage, and Hunter/Jumper. Maple also offers groundwork, lunging and long-lining, liberty work, gentling and haltering, colt starting and first rides, bridleless or neck-rope riding, and troubleshooting challenges in and out of the saddle. Massage, bodywork, and stretching are available as part of her holistic approach. Clients can work with their own horses or ride one of Maple’s horses in Ada; horses brought to Ada must have a negative Coggins test.
