Maria Marachowska is a Berlin-based independent artist whose work brings together visual art, music and design. Working professionally under MARACHOWSKA ART since 1996 and SIBERIAN BLUES since 2004, she draws on a diverse European background and studies in music and applied arts. Her practice spans painting, drawing, glass art, graphic design and murals, with works presented in exhibitions and more than 3,000 paintings sold worldwide.
In music, Marachowska created Siberian Blues, a distinctive style described as combining meditative rhythms with ecstatic energy. She has written approximately 200 original songs and performed in more than 300 concerts. Her performances feature original compositions and poetry, sometimes presented in English and Russian, and her musical offerings include recordings, music videos and a discography.
