MARA Espacios Seguros is a leading brand that is dedicated to creating safe spaces for women and promoting gender equality. With a mission to integrate a gender perspective into organizational practices and business management, MARA provides consultancy services to organizations, helping them develop good practices and foster a culture of peace. Founded in response to the rise in violence against women in Mexico in 2017, MARA's journey started with the creation of Vamos Juntas, a network designed to combat harassment and intimidation during the use of private transportation services.
Realizing the need for assistance in cases of street harassment, MARA established the Red MARA, which provides support to women in vulnerable situations. Finally, MARA Consultoría was introduced to enhance the quality of life for women and contribute to the improvement of both public and private environments. MARA's pillars revolve around the capacity for women to generate empathetic relationships, the fearless pursuit of rights, and the creation of concrete actions to ensure equal opportunities for all.
With a vision to become a leading consultancy in gender perspective and good practices in Latin America, MARA is committed to creating a city where all women can thrive and develop without fear
