Marathon Côte Indigo is a community running event set along the scenic coast of southern France, bringing together runners, walkers, spectators and volunteers. Its route showcases three destinations: Fleury d’Aude, a traditional village; Les Cabanes de Fleury, a small fishing port; and Saint-Pierre-la-Mer, a family-friendly seaside resort. Participants experience a varied natural landscape of coastline, salt marshes, vineyards, garrigue and the protected La Clape massif.

The event offers distances and formats for a range of abilities and interests, including a marathon, a two-person marathon relay, a half-marathon, 10 km and 5 km races, children’s races, a 12.5 km hike and a 12.5 km Nordic walking course. The 2027 programme lists the shorter races and children’s events for Saturday, April 24, and the longer events for Sunday, April 25. The organisers also invite people to take part as volunteers, recognising their essential contribution to the event. With race registration, results, practical information and news available through its website, Marathon Côte Indigo combines sporting challenge with a celebration of the region.
