Marath'Yon 85

Marath’Yon 85 is a running association and club based in La Roche-sur-Yon, France, bringing together runners and walkers through races, training, and community activities. Its main event, La Marath’Yonnaise, is an annual nature-running event held at the Vallée Verte. The programme features several trail distances, with the site describing routes of 6, 12, 24, and 42 kilometres; past editions have also included other formats, such as a two-person relay.

The event welcomes participants across different routes and is supported by local clubs, volunteers, members, and partners. Beyond organising the race, Marath’Yon 85 offers club activities and training, shares race information and results, and arranges opportunities for members and local groups to explore the courses. Its wider activities include Marath’Yon Nature and Marath’Yon Bike, as well as a water-planning initiative.

With a history spanning more than two decades of La Marath’Yonnaise, the association promotes an accessible, participatory approach to outdoor sport and the enjoyment of running in a local community setting
