Mar Bravo Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu

Mar Bravo Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a service-disabled veteran-owned martial arts academy preparing to open in Ocala, Florida, in 2026. Founded by Kyle Jeansonne, a U. S.

Army combat veteran with more than 20 years of training experience, the academy aims to offer disciplined instruction and a welcoming place for local families and veterans. Its programs include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for youth and adults, with a structured curriculum and objective promotion criteria; Muay Thai for participants aged 14 and older, covering striking and clinch work; and a dedicated veterans class led by an instructor with firsthand military experience. Mar Bravo also plans to provide curriculum-based homeschool physical education, with morning classes and documented student progress.

The academy emphasizes earned advancement and high standards rather than shortcuts or pay-to-advance promotions. Mar Bravo’s veterans program is rooted in the founder’s belief that martial arts training helped him after returning from combat, and is intended to give veterans in Marion County access to a dedicated class
