Marbrerie Friess

Marbrerie Friess is a family-owned funeral masonry business founded in Mulhouse in 1927. With a history spanning nearly a century, the company combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary ways to honour and preserve the memory of loved ones. Since 2016, Cyrille Pinheiro and Sonia Woehrlé have led the business, supported by a team of eight specialists who assist families from selecting materials through to creating and installing memorials.

The company offers the installation and renovation of funeral monuments, inscriptions, grave decoration, engraving and burial services. Its work includes granite memorials and custom designs, created with care and attention to detail. Marbrerie Friess serves families in Mulhouse and nearby communities, including Wittenheim, Kingersheim, Pfastatt, Riedisheim, Habsheim, Thann, Vieux-Thann and Colmar.

Alongside its traditional services, the company has developed InMemorium, a digital application intended to provide families with modern, personalized ways to celebrate and remember those who have died. Marbrerie Friess operates two showrooms and one workshop, and welcomes clients at its Mulhouse and Wittenheim locations.
