About Marcus Samuelsson
Marcus Samuelsson is a renowned brand that embodies the passion for cooking and the pursuit of flavor. Growing up in Sweden, Marcus developed a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. He spent summers fishing with his family, catching crayfish, lobsters, and mackerel.

He has also opened Marcus B&P in Newark, Streetbird at Yankee Stadium, Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House in the Bahamas, and Marcus Bar & Grille in Atlanta. Marcus's culinary talent has earned him numerous accolades, including a three-star review from The New York Times and eight James Beard Foundation awards. He has appeared on popular cooking shows like Top Chef Masters and Chopped All-Stars.
Currently, he can be seen as an Iron Chef on Netflix's hit series Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend. Beyond his culinary achievements, Marcus is also a dedicated philanthropist. He co-chairs the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) and converted his restaurants into community kitchens during the COVID-19 pandemic, serving over 280,000 meals to those in need.
