MARDE

MARDE is a New Jersey startup developing an integrated emergency-response robotics concept to help extend useful capability toward patients before EMS arrives. The company is pre-seed and pre-prototype; it has no deployed systems or announced commercial pilots, and its proposed capabilities have not yet been validated in operation.

Its planned system combines four elements. MARDE Air is a proposed aircraft intended to transport and lower the ground platform, while providing aerial scene views. MARDE Ground is an outdoor teleoperated platform designed for final-approach access, ground-level video, two-way communication, and delivery of AED and tourniquet supplies. Nexus is the proposed coordination layer, bringing together system feeds, readiness information, communications, and operator authorization. Response modules are planned around an AED bay and a reloadable tourniquet dispenser.

The initial workflow is conceptual and designed to keep people in control, from simulated dispatch through access and supply delivery to EMS handoff and recovery. MARDE is working toward an integrated, operator-directed V1 demonstration, followed by controlled testing and validation.
