Margit Deerman

Margit Deerman is a licensed 4-Star Parelli Professional and riding instructor who helps people build confidence, trust, and communication with their horses through the Parelli method. Based at Deerman Ranch, she offers private and group instruction, along with events, clinics, workshops, and summer camp experiences. Her teaching emphasizes partnership and the horse’s wellbeing, prioritizing the relationship over simply completing tasks.

Students learn to understand equine behavior and their horse’s Horsenality, while developing skills both on the ground and in the saddle. The program covers Parelli’s Four Savvys: On Line, Liberty, FreeStyle, and Finesse, supporting learners at different stages of their horsemanship journey. Margit’s approach encourages clear, compassionate communication and ongoing personal growth, with the Parelli Pathway and Savvy Club presented as resources for learning and tracking progress.

The website also features testimonials, a blog, upcoming events, information about the ranch and its horses, and listings for horses for sale. Margit’s students describe her instruction as perceptive, positive, patient, and practical
