– Marianum

Marianum – the Funeral Service of the City of Bratislava – supports families with funeral arrangements and manages cemeteries and memorial sites across the city. Its services include the nonstop transport of deceased persons, guidance on what to do after a death, and help organizing a funeral. Families can choose from funeral packages covering cemetery ceremonies, cremation, or natural burial, with options to suit individual preferences. Marianum also provides information about forms of farewell and practical steps for the day of the funeral.

The organization offers assistance with grave spaces, including grave-site searches and information about unpaid grave-space fees, as well as a catalogue of funeral products. Its website lists upcoming ceremonies, publishes service updates and practical notices, and provides contact details and opening hours. Marianum also operates a flower shop and oversees cemeteries and memorials under its care. Established by the City of Bratislava, the organization combines funeral services with cemetery administration and public information to help residents navigate arrangements and commemorative visits.
