Maria Riesch

Maria Riesch is a former elite alpine ski racer and a prominent speaker, coach, and brand ambassador. During a 14-year World Cup career, she earned three Olympic gold medals and one silver, two world championship gold medals, and 27 World Cup victories, along with several discipline and overall titles. Since retiring in 2014, she has built a diverse career connecting lessons from high-performance sport with business, wellbeing, and personal development.

Riesch offers keynote presentations on resilience, motivation, discipline, teamwork, and recovering from setbacks, drawing on her experiences at the highest level of competition. For corporate events, she also offers a combined keynote and ski-day experience. As a brand ambassador, she partners with organisations around values including quality, innovation, safety, and social responsibility. Her work has included fitness coaching, television expertise, podcasting, and investment, including involvement with women’s football club FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin. She also supports youth-focused causes through her roles with the DFL Foundation and Laureus Academy, promoting active childhoods and opportunities for young people.
