Established in 2011, it is the area’s only all-female and gender-diverse football club, welcoming players of all ages and abilities. The club is based at Johnson Reserve in West Footscray and serves the surrounding community.

Maribyrnong Swifts provides opportunities to play football in a safe, supportive environment where equality and respect are central. The club welcomes people regardless of ethnicity, religion, sexuality or gender, and aims to create a positive experience for everyone in its community.

People interested in joining can explore the club’s football programs and become a Swift. The club also works with partners who share its values and commitment to strengthening the community, and invites businesses to enquire about sponsorship.
