Marie Laure Orca

Marie-Laure Orca is a doula serving Bordeaux and the wider Gironde region in France. She offers compassionate, nonjudgmental support to women, parents, babies and families, adapting her presence to each person’s needs and choices. Her work focuses on emotional and practical support rather than medical care: she does not diagnose, examine or provide medical advice, and encourages clients to contact their healthcare professional for medical questions.

Services include personalized perinatal support from preconception through pregnancy, birth and the return home, as well as postpartum visits and breastfeeding support. Marie-Laure also provides Rebozo rituals, including opening and closing treatments and postpartum pelvic wrapping, and offers support with parenting and family transitions. For those who wish, she can attend births in maternity settings, birth centres or planned home births, subject to conditions. Other offerings include Blessing Way ceremonies, themed women’s circles and support through pregnancy loss and grief. Clients can meet her at her office in Le Pian-Médoc or arrange home visits across Gironde.
