Founded by María Alejandra Lara, an interior designer, KonMari Method™ consultant, and art dealer, the practice draws on more than 33 years of experience and serves clients in Miami, South Florida, Madrid, and beyond.

Its residential design services range from full interior projects to Signature Interior Curation for individual rooms or complete homes. Offerings include space planning, furniture and material selection, lighting, styling, sourcing, and project coordination. Holistic Space Consultations consider a home’s flow, functionality, organization, and sensory qualities to support everyday wellbeing. Using the KonMari Method™, Marilara Design helps clients create more intentional, organized spaces centered on what brings them joy.

The studio also curates artwork and collectible pieces, designs creative environments and outdoor living spaces, and offers Marilara On Board™, a bespoke service for yachts, boats, and catamarans. Onboard support can include styling, space optimization, guest ambiance, table settings, provisioning, and sensory details.
