Marilles Foundation is a dedicated organization committed to the conservation of the Balearic Sea and its coastlines. Our mission is to reconcile the conservation of marine ecosystems with economic prosperity. We work alongside other foundations and private donors, with our primary source of funding coming from the Adessium Foundation.

Every euro donated to Marilles allows us to undertake projects related to the conservation of the Balearic Islands. Our foundation was officially established in 2017, following extensive research and planning. Supported by the MAVA Foundation and the Flotilla Foundation, we have a strong network of partners in the Mediterranean and beyond, with deep roots in environmental philanthropy.

We prioritize facilitating dialogue between NGOs, experts, government entities, and the private sector to ensure that all efforts are strategically aligned. Marilles adopts a positive, inclusive, and constructive approach, focused on identifying and implementing solutions. We engage with all sectors of society, including the public, private, and citizen organizations, to coordinate efforts and maximize impact.

Our team of dedicated professionals brings together a wealth of expertise in marine biology, communication, research, citizen science, protected areas management, and finance. They work tirelessly to address the challenges posed by the sea and achieve our shared goal of conserving the Balearic Sea.
