Marina Scuba School is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre based in Crosby, serving the North West of England and beyond. Guided by the belief that “Diving is for Everyone,” its team of PADI professionals includes Master and Elite Instructors trained in adaptive techniques. The school provides scuba instruction for beginners, divers developing their skills, and people pursuing professional qualifications.
Young learners can try a Bubblemaker experience from age eight or work towards PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification from age ten. Other options include Discover Scuba Dive experiences, diver certification courses, and the Instructor Development Course, supported by two PADI Course Directors. Some instructor training can be delivered through Zoom calls.
In-water training takes place at Volair Leisure Centre in Kirkby, with exclusive pool access on Saturdays, while open-water training is held at Capernwray Quarry near Carnforth. Based in a modern, friendly dive centre in Crosby, Marina Scuba School welcomes people who want to try diving, build confidence underwater, or pursue a career in the sport
