Marine Guitars

Marine Guitars is a lutherie workshop in Toulouse, France, offering custom instrument making, repairs, restoration, and hands-on building experiences. The workshop works with musicians to create unique guitars shaped around the sound they want, with each instrument made as a one-of-a-kind piece rather than reproduced as a standard model. Its work covers a range of instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, basses, harps, and ukuleles.

For players who want to make an instrument themselves, Marine Guitars offers a build-it-yourself experience in a workshop setting. Participants can work on a personal, customized instrument using hand tools and materials such as mahogany. The workshop also sets up, repairs, and restores both new and vintage instruments, with a free quote available. Common repairs include addressing string buzz, replacing nuts or saddles, fixing broken headstocks, securing lifting bridges or braces, repairing wood cracks, and working on dented frets. Marine Guitars is located at 1 Rue Louis-Joseph Gay-Lussac in Toulouse and can be contacted by email or phone.
